- Sun 1st - Spalding & District ARS Rally.
- Tues 3rd - Loughborough & District ARC - 50th Anniversary of its formation
at Glenmore Community Centre,Thorpe Road, Shepshed between the hours of 1800 and 2200 - buffet at no charge.

- Sun 3rd - RSGB UHF Low Power (QRP) 432MHz Contest
- Sun 3rd - Second RoPoCo2 Contest 80m (Rotating Postcodes )
- Sun 10th - Kings Lynn Rally

- Sat 16th & Sunday 17th - MMARS celebrates the 50th ANNIVERSARY of its founding.
The The South Melton Community Centre, Dalby Road, Melton Mowbray (O.S.Sheet 129 - NGR SK750177) has been booked for this celebratory weekend.

- Fri 24th & Sat 25th - Leicester Amateur Radio Show - Donington Park Exhibition Centre, Donington Park Motor Racing Circuit, Castle Donington.
(A team of MMARS members attend the Show 'set up day' Thursday 23rd October. Shaun G6PGP is the MMARS staffing coordinator for the Show. Please let Shaun know soonest if you will be willing to help at the event. Your involvement will earn funds for MMARS and Melton RAYNET Group.)
