FRIXO COM is a road travel reporting website, which provides its users with the most up-to-date road traffic information. Data is updated every 5 minutes using sensors placed on motorways and common A / B roads and is therefore useful to consult prior to travelling to any of our meetings.
From Leicester
Follow A607 North/East towards Melton, approximately ½ mile after the village of Kirby Bellars turn right on
the apex of a left-hand bend, signed Great Dalby then take the first left turn (almost immediately), into Kirby Lane, signed Eye Kettleby follow for approximately 1½ miles to cross-roads, turn left into Dalby Road towards Melton and we are just at the top of the hill on the right/hand side just before the mini-roundabout
From Nottingham
Follow A606 South into Melton, straight over first main set of traffic lights, (bus station on the right after
lights) through next lights (two sets close together) over the river bridge to next set of lights (B6047 signed Great Dalby) and turn left into Dalby Road (swimming baths on left and Total filling station on the right after you've turned), straight over first mini-roundabout (approximately ¾ mile) in the dip, we are on the left/hand side immediately after second mini-roundabout
From Grantham
Follow A607 South/West into Melton, first main set of traffic lights bear left, signed B676 Bourne, almost
immediately turn right into Brook Street and follow round to the T-junction (Noels Arms pub on the left) and turn left, into Burton Street. over railway bridge and take first right into Ankle Hill, follow round to the right at top of hill and then turn left at T-junction into Dalby Road, straight over first mini-roundabout in the dip, we are on the left/hand side immediately after second mini-roundabout
From Oakham
Follow A606 North/West into Melton, take first left after 30mph sign, Norfolk Drive, follow to T-junction at
the end and turn right, almost immediately turn left into Queensway follow to T-junction at the end and turn right into Dalby Road, we are almost immediately on the right/hand side just before mini-roundabout
From Loughborough
Follow B676 and A6006 East into Melton, first main set of traffic lights turn right signed Leicester, (bus
station on the right after you've turned) through next lights (two sets close together) over the river bridge to next set of lights (B6047 signed Great Dalby) and turn left into Dalby Road (swimming baths on left and Total filling station on the right after you've turned), straight over first mini-roundabout (approximately ¾ mile) in the dip, we are on the left/hand side almost immediately after second mini-roundabout
Or if you don't want to go through Melton
Take first right turn into Asfordby village, (first turn after the long straight) through the width restriction
and turn right into Station Lane signed Kirby Bellars, follow for approximately 1 mile to the junction of the A607 and the village of Kirby Bellars turn left towards Melton, approximately ½ mile after the village of Kirby Bellars turn right on the apex of a left-hand bend, signed Great Dalby then take the first left turn, (almost immediately) into Kirby Lane, signed Eye Kettleby follow for approximately 1½ miles to cross-roads, turn left into Dalby Road towards Melton and we are just at the top of the hill on the right/hand side just before the mini-roundabout
